Mojácar (Almería), 9 January 2024.- After over three years of international travel, the communication agency specialised in climate change 10 Billion Solutions arrives in Spain to contribute to the ecological transition and sustainability of institutions and companies in the national territory.
After working for national and international media and the United Nations, the Almerian journalist Mariana Castaño Cano founded 10 Billion Solutions - Climate and Sustainability Communications in France in 2020, and now, in 2024, the firm arrives in Spain with new headquarters in Mojácar, on the Almeria Coast.
10 Billion Solutions Spain will provide services to organisations and companies throughout Spain, and internationally the agency will focus on institutional and commercial collaboration in favour of climate between Spain, Europe and Latin America.
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change and moving towards sustainable social, production and economic models that respect the environment and health are objectives subscribed to by Spanish authorities at all levels, national, regional and local. However, there is a gap between these goals and promises, and the implementation of concrete actions resulting in the runaway worsening of climate change, which is causing droughts, heat waves, floods and loss of biodiversity among other impacts.
Communication is a key tool for raising awareness of the causes and effects of climate change and environmental degradation. Communication is key, above all, to inform about solutions to these serious problems.
Raising awareness and informing about climate change and its solutions is the mission of 10 Billion Solutions, which uses communication as a vehicle to accelerate the adoption of climate policies that do the most to reduce emissions and vulnerability to climate impacts, while improving the quality of life and prosperity of society as a whole.
Concrete solutions to major problems
In Spain, there are more and more communication and marketing agencies specialised in sustainability; 10 Billion Solutions is contributing to this positive trend by establishing itself as the first agency exclusively focused on climate change, which, according to the United Nations, is the greatest threat to global health, economy, peace and security.
