Connectivity, digitisation and efficiency in road safety will be the specialised content that TRAFIC will bring to this major international event
In September, Global Mobility Call, the strategic event organised by IFEMA MADRID with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), which seeks to position Spain as the international hub for sustainable mobility, will integrate the International Exhibition for Safe and Sustainable Mobility, TRAFIC, into its strategy and content, sharing synergies and the common goal of promoting and bringing together the different sectors linked to mobility.
In the context of cleaner, safer and more inclusive economic, environmental and social development, the second edition of Global Mobility Call will take place in Madrid on 12-14 September 2023, addressing the current challenges and the solutions that will promote more sustainable mobility, backed by the public and private sectors. A topic in which TRAFIC 2023 will provide great added value through its areas of specialisation, i.e. connectivity, digitisation and efficiency in road safety.
TRAFIC will serve to enhance in Global Mobility Call, sectors such us Infrastructure, Road Safety, Parking, Traffic Management. The event also includes a packed agenda of professional conferences that will address the key issues of safe and sustainable mobility.
Global Mobility Call will comprise two areas: GMC Congress, which will bring together international experts from both the institutional and business spheres of the different sectors involved, and GMC Expo, the forum designed to connect the stakeholders in sustainable mobility, create opportunities and new business models, and present the latest innovations in the different sectors.
The first Global Mobility Call event, from 14-16 June 2022, attracted 5,616 attendees and 13,000 online professionals from 16 countries. Meanwhile, the latest TRAFIC exhibition, held from 2-4 November 2021, brought together more than 3,500 high-level professionals and 55 companies, showcasing their sector's R&D capabilities.
